We're all from diverse backgrounds and between us have done it all - from running for-profit businesses, to non-profit organisations, we've worked at management consulting firms, small data collection agencies, big multilateral organisations and even made movies and written books!  

What we have, in common, is the commitment to help organizations of all sizes and kinds -- create the most impactful and cost-effective interventions they can for those who live on the margins of our world.

Varna Sri Raman

Founder, In-House Ch'i Infuser and Cheerleader

Varna began Pinpoint Ventures in 2016 under the IdeaLog Works banner. She has over 15 years of full-time work experience in international development and social research. Varna's professional interests are in behavior change communications, small enterprise bottom-lines, health and education policy, rural markets and credit access, advocacy, knowledge-management driven communications and gender inclusive economic growth. As a serial entrepreneur when she isn't juggling her many ventures, Varna enjoys playing catch-up with her Kindle and staring at the moon. At PinPoint Ventures, Varna is responsible for all the business ideas and ensuring a high-quality experience for all clients.

Papri Sri Raman

Co-Founder and In-House Editor-At-Large

Papri is a journalist/writer, editor and translator. With over 30 years of experience in the "news" world, she is the winner of the third UNHCR CNES Media Fellowship, the Interpress Media Fellowship, The Kaiser Media Fellowship and many more.  She has worked with several Indian newspapers such as the Statesman, The Indian Express and several news agencies. Currently a contributor to the Truthout webzine among others, she now serves as the Managing Editor of India's only dedicated newspaper on the publishing industry. At PinPoint Ventures, Papri is responsible for all quality on the written-word front.

Taranga Sriraman

Principal Advisor, In-House Ideas Person

Taranga is a feminist social work practitioner with extensive expertise of large-scale work in women's movements organisations and initiatives over the last 15 years. Taranga's professional interests are in design and institutionalisation of feminist programmes, programmatic and financial management, resource mobilisation and training with regard to issues of gender, sexuality & feminist social work practice. At PinPoint Ventures, she is our Pro Bono advisor on all matters of consequence.

Sandip Sen

Senior Consultant, In-House Mentor and Referee

Sandip Sen is an expert on the Indian economy and business. He writes for several national dailies and think tanks and is sought after speaker on television.  Aside of being a journalist and policy expert he has over thirty years of industry experience. He is the Author of the book 'Neta, Babu and Subsidy : Economic Roundup 2000 to 2014.' At Pinpoint Ventures, Sandip is also our chief-mentor and in-house referee for all things contentious. Sandip is available to consult on projects focussing on energy, the economy broadly, livelihoods and allied subjects.

Devvrat

Devvrat has undertaken dominantly cases in Service, land and Labour and Industrial Laws, Constitutional Law, Company Laws, Criminal Laws, Insurance laws,Consumer Protection laws, Urban Development Laws however significant number of cases were also in other fields like Excise law, Income Tax Laws,Laws of Negotiable Instruments Act, Trademark and Patent Laws.
